2009 Support Your Local Library Challenge

Who knew that J. Kaye was hosting a 2009 Support Your Local Library Challenge? Well, I just found out and just had to join considering the obscene number of books that I get from the library. Okay, well most of the books I get from the library are "flippers" and I don't read them in their entirety but a lot I do. In any case, there are three levels to the challenge (12, 25, and 50 books in 2009) so I'm going to enroll for 25. I'm not sure that I can do 50 books between now and the end of the year since I normally read around 120 or so books a year and I'm already up to 78 that may be cutting it a bit close. Definitely I'll do the 50 level for 2010. I can't believe I'm already planning 2010 reading!

In any case, the 25 I'm aiming for from July 1st to December 31st will all library books as the poor beleaguered librarians at my local library can attest to! They know me by name!

So, here's my list:

  1. The Dogs of Riga
  2. Death of a Poison Pen (Hamish Macbeth #20)
  3. Good House Cheap House
  4. Made from Scratch
  5. Death of a Bore (Hamish Macbeth #21)
