Announcement: Star Rating Scale Update

I've been pondering my rating system for a while since quite a few books lately have received three stars when they more accurately should have received two stars but my rating system was just slightly off.

In any case, I've slightly revised my system to reflect this. Two stars now means it was Just Okay instead of Didn't Like It, and one star has been changed from Hated It to Didn't Like It.

I think this will more accurately represent my feelings about a book.

Also, I should mention that most books will receive either two or three stars. This does not mean
that the book is bad at all - unless I specifically say so. Truly horrific books will get one star and
I reserve the right to give a book zero stars if the need arises.

You will still see some of the old ratings for the remainder of the month on reviews that I've
already scheduled. I am so not going back and changing them all!

New ratings:

The star rating scale is most accurately compared to chocolates, as follows:

★★★★★ = Loved It (Godiva/Lindt)
★★★★ = Really Liked It (Munson's/Ghiradelli)
★★☆☆ = Liked It (Sees Candies Chocolate/Hershey's Premium)
☆☆= Just Okay (Hershey's standard chocolate bar/Cadbury Egg)
☆☆ = Didn't Like It (Standard generic brand hollow chocolate Easter bunny or Santa/Tootsie Roll)
