Review: The Message by JR Sellazzo

The MessageBased on true events, The Message is a story of coping with the challenges of life. The story details the tragedies and events of JR’s life, which include the 2006 Mother’s Day Murder, the death of his best friend at age 21, and the girl who broke his heart.

Received from the publisher for review.

This one gets two stars.  It is a slim volume at just over 100 pages and written in a conversational style that is pleasant, however the series of frankly bizarre stories that, while factual, weren't inspiring or even something one would want to remember.  Yes, of course, the author's experiences are sad but really, who hasn't had family and friends die or lovers suddenly decamp?  I just wasn't that impressed.

☆☆= Just Okay
