Featured Book: Puppies and Poems by Nancy Sack

About the book:

Puppies and Poems is a lovely collection of story poems that celebrate family, friendship, creative playtime, festivities, and outdoor activities. Young children, parents, teachers, and those who love puppies will delight in this joy-filled collection of children’s poetry. Illustrator Kaitlyn Fuchs has created two endearing puppies whom the reader will want to take home.

About the author:

Puppies and Poems is Nancy’s second published book. Her first book, Musing Along the Ike, is an adult contemporary collection of poetry and prose. Nancy is an English and ESL teacher at Schaumburg High School in Illinois. She has been inducted into the International Library of Poetry for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. She has had several of her poems and prose published in national anthologies and literary magazines throughout her years of teaching. Nancy is published in the National Council of Teachers of English Gallery of Writing. She lives in Elmhurst, Illinois, with her two children.
