Review: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck by Jeff Kinney

Greg Heffley's on a losing streak.

His best friend, Rowley Jefferson, has ditched him, and finding new friends in middle school is proving to be a tough task.

To change his fortunes, Greg decides to take a leap of faith and turn his decisions over to chance.

Will a roll of the dice turn things around, or is Greg's life destined to be just another hard-luck story?

Received for review.

Despite its reputation for being a "boy" book series the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series is a good one for any child.

This latest installment continues Greg's adventures in middle school trying to make friends and dealing with life in general.  This had a cute twist where Greg decides to hand over all decision making to a Magic 8 Ball for a while.  I think we've probably all considered that at one point or another.

The journal format filled with tons of cute illustrations makes for super fast and fun reading.  This is sure to be a hit with kids and I highly recommend it for boys and girls alike.

★★★★ = Really Liked It
