Author Interview: David Wardrop author of Long Walk Home

David Wardrop, author of Long Walk Home, stopped by today for an interview.

What do you do when you're not writing?

I love gardening and nature. I enjoy reading, learning and visiting places such as Parks and Museums.

When did you first start writing?

Mid twenties I would say.

Is there any particular author or book that influenced you in any way either growing up or as an adult?

The works of Philip K. Dick really opened my mind and showed me what imagination can do.

What inspired you to write this particular book?

Think I wrote this book to cheer myself up.

What is best writing advice you can give?

Try, try and try again.

Is there anything else you'd like your readers to know about the book?

The aim of the book is to make you smile.

About the book:

It is the end of the world as we know it. The planet has run out of petroleum and the main character decides that this would be a good time to take a long walk home.

About the author:

David was born and lives in Scotland. He is 30 years old and does a lot of volunteer work both online and offline.
